Which Illusionists You Really Should Consider Attending When In Las Vegas, Nevada
There are plenty of different sorts of shows you can go to see. Some are hard core illusionists and some are just jokesters that perform magic. Some have run a home business performing magic at parties and all of a sudden assume they can get into the big-time.
Most have night shows up to 6 nights a week. Lance Burton, who performs at the Monte Carlo Hotel, is original in his act as well as fascinating. He starts the show with definite close-up wizardry. In one show, he tossed a bird in the air that became confetti in front of everybody. He moves onto larger illusions and his act is extremely good. He’s also got a juggler in his show that can juggle a chainsaw, a peanut MM, and a beanbag chair.
Penn and Teller are 2 masters of illusion you don’t want to miss. The ever quiet Teller sometimes finishes up being the guinea pig to the ever vociferous Penn. They perform magic tricks and then take the time to clarify how they’re done. They also do juggling, make really off the wall comments, and do some really mean stunts. The stunt most like to see is Teller catch a bullet in his teeth after Penn shoots him.
Criss Angel achieved celebrity through his “Mindfreak” television show. He is found at the Luxor Hotel and does shows at others in Vegas too. He’s done the Houdini trick “Metamorphosis” with no curtain. He has cut himself in 2 and put himself back together. Criss also shows his mentalist capabilities when he asks people to consider certain objects or numbers.
Mac King, performing at Harrah’s hotel, is one of the best afternoon shows you can see. He is famous for close-up magic that really defies your eyes and brain. Mac’s show is ideal if you want something for the kids right before dinner or another show. He isn’t extraordinarily costly and is a consummate performer.
