While Seattle and Houston are as different as fire and ice, a closer look reveals some interesting similarities. In fact, most people have the wrong idea about Houston. Lets face it, most Americans have probably never been to Houston are likely to think that it is run by people like J.R. Ewing or the right wing of American politics. But if you’ve never spent time with a Seattle Translation worker, you may be prone to view it as very liberal with lots of depressed people with dreadlocks and needing Teen Spirit. That’s why I decided to write this article. It’s a simple attempt to prevent any more crazy notions that certain people have.

The city of Seattle is one of the most western continental states that borders Canada.. Further, according to Seattle Translator workers, the city is only about an hour and a half drive from Canada. If you drive west from Seattle, you can make it to the ocean in about an hour and a half. However, Seattle is a port city. Whether you are into cultural events or seeking a big city atmosphere, Seattle has a lot to offer. That’s because it is the 25th most populated city in the United States and has a very diverse population. Seattle is also known as the Jet City due to the many Aerospace companies located in the area and its space needle. According to Houston Translation workers, one of the most famous persons from Seattle is Jimi Hendrix. In addition, the city is a haven for coffee connoisseur and a number of large famous internet companies including Microsoft, Amazon and several others.

Houston’s Hot Too!
Unfortunately, many people have never been to Houston but feel comfortable about forming an opinion. According to some Seattle Translation workers, Houston is a capital for conservatism. There isn’t an ounce of truth in those thoughts.. Brace yourself. Houston, the nation’s fourth largest city, is composed mostly of Democratic voters. Not only is the city primarily democratic, it just elected its first openly gay mayor.. While Seattle claims the space needle, Houston claims NASA, shuttle launches, and many defense contractors. Further, both Houston and Seattle have ports, diverse populations and nationalities from all over the world. In addition, Houston also claims some very famous past and present celebrities like Howard Hughes, Beyonce Knowles, Alexis Bledel, Hilary Duff and many others.

More Similarities
No matter if your home is Houston or your home is Seattle, the weather is probably crummy. In Seattle, the sun never shines and there is the regular grayness in the sky that can often be depressing for some. In contrast, many parts of Houston sport a Mediterranean style and of course, the city gets lots of sunlight and warm weather that helps to keep things fun. However, the problem with Houston is usually very high humidity levels and an occasional hurricane scare.
